The challenge deadline is fast approaching and as always it's going to come right down to the wire. I've managed to get a good number of pieces finished.
If you've never been to a Forgotten Works Challenge, it's a great opportunity to find some great artwork at a great price. Be sure to mark you calendars for December 1st.
Here is a preview shot of some of the first Forgotten Works Challenge canvas boards I'm preparing with handmade wooden backgrounds. These will serve as a backdrop for a series of paintings.

Welcome to the new jjoldersma.com website! After a bunch of work I've decided to switch over to a different website format, something easier to update and with a lot more great features. I'll be posting updates more often via this blog which may or may not include random glimpses into my process, updates on shows or whatever else of interest I can conjure up. Next January i'll be having a show at the Derby Salon near Ravenna Park in Seattle. The show will start on Thursday, January 14th.
